Steps To Becoming A Franchisee
Complete the online franchise enquiry form below or contact Head Office +64 9 274 6168 to make a formal enquiry.
Our Head Office will send you a FRANCHISE INFORMATION PACK containing an overview of our Company, an Application Form and a Privacy Statement.
Read the information pack, fill out all the forms and return them to Head Office.
If we think you might be a suitable applicant, you will be asked to attend an interview with two of our Head Office team, who will assist you in your quest to find out whether owning a New Zealand Natural franchise is for you.
If you are successful in the 1st round of interviews you will be asked to attend a 2nd interview. If you meet all our franchisee criteria you will be an approved applicant.
Once you are an approved applicant you are then free to evaluate the current stores for sale or new opportunities.
Once we have agreed on a site you will then undertake an intensive training and assessment program. Initially you will receive 2 to 3 weeks of training, which will be conducted prior to the store handover. This will mainly be done at various New Zealand Natural stores. A further week of training may be conducted after handover to help ensure a smooth transition.

Initial Franchise Fee:
There is an initial franchise fee charged for all the intellectual property, manuals and training.
In Australia and New Zealand there is an ongoing 6% franchise service fee and all franchisees contribute 3% to a common marketing fund (Adfund). Adfund is used for all promotional activity to increase brand awareness of New Zealand Natural and promote new or existing products. Stores are also involved in Local Store Marketing (LSM), which is a joint program between Head Office and individual franchisees.
At New Zealand Natural we place great importance on operational standards and customer service. All our new franchisees undergo a comprehensive training program prior to taking over their store.
We provide a very detailed, competency based, training and assessment program for all new franchisees. The training program includes modules on Customer Service, Product preparation & Presentation, Equipment Maintenance, Marketing and General Store Administration. Franchisees will not be granted permission to take over a store until they have been assessed as competent to do so.
After the initial training period, franchisees are provided with ongoing operational assistance from their assigned Area Manager and are issued with an Operations & Training toolbox and Product Specifications Manuals. They are also required to attend ongoing training sessions and franchisee meetings. The success of a New Zealand Natural franchise is to a large extent dependent upon the enthusiasm of individual franchisees and the effort they and their staff make in achieving excellent customer service and operational standards.
