Shane joined Emerald Foods as CEO in 2006 and has over 20 years experience in food manufacturing, focused on dairy and vegetable processing. He has an MBA and Bachelor of Food Technology from Massey University (NZ) and an NZCS from Waikato Polytechnic (NZ). Since joining Emerald Foods, Shane has now taken over as Managing Director, responsible for the Global Foods Group, including New Zealand Natural.
Fraser joined the Emerald Foods team in 2005 after 19 years in international trade and logistics, including 3 years in London. Fraser's experience is food specific and includes numerous account management, sales and general management roles.
Campbell has over 15 years experience in the retail sector and has been with New Zealand Natural since 2004. Campbell has overseen the roll-out of New Zealand Natural in China, Thailand and Vietnam and has driven continued growth of the brand throughout the rest of Asia. Campbell holds a Post Graduate Diploma of Marketing from Auckland University (NZ) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Rutgers University (USA).
David joined Emerald Foods in 2003, after 16 years in Europe. David holds a BMS from Waikato University (NZ) and has extensive international experience including management consultancy with Cranfield Business School and various multinational organisations in the UK, Belgium and Sweden. He was appointed Regional Manager, Australasia for New Zealand Natural in 2006.
Jason joined Emerald Foods in 2008 as Foodservice Manager, responsible for sales of foodservice brands into the hospitality channel. Jason is a qualified chef with many years experience in foodservice with multinational FMCG companies including Nestle, Unilever, Illy, and most recently The Bell Tea & Coffee Company. Jason manages the New Zealand Foodservices sales team and our NZ key distributors.
Michael joined the team in 2003 and has qualifications in technology and business analysis. With over 10 years experience in IT, Michael has extensive knowledge of the New Zealand Natural IT infrastructure, point of sale systems, analytics software, store equipment and logistics. He is also responsible for the day to day operation of the Australian head office.
Dipak joined the team in 2005 as Operations Manager for NZ and then took on the additional responsibility of International Trainer. He was promoted to Store Development Manager, Australasia in 2009. Prior to joining New Zealand Natural, Dipak was a successful franchisee with Muffin Break and has over 20 years retailing experience.
Logan has over 15 years experience in food manufacturing and has been with Emerald Foods since 2000. Starting as a Production Team Leader, Logan spent over 5 years running day to day factory production, before moving into production planning. Natural progression has seen Logan promoted to a purchasing role and his appointment as Planning and Purchasing Manager in 2008.
Jackie is a dairy specialist Food Technologist with 25 years experience in product research & development, compliance and quality assurance. She has extensive knowledge of global market requirements and a passion for working with customers to develop unique and contemporary innovations in ice cream.
Peter has been with New Zealand Natural since 1989. With over 30 years of retail experience from shop floor to management, he has been an integral member of our franchise model development. Originally trained as a Civil Engineer in the UK, Peter eventually settled on the Gold Coast of Australia with New Zealand Natural in its early development.
Terry joined Emerald Foods in 2006 and has been a qualified and awarded executive chef with 25 years experience. He has previously held sales roles with Fonterra and Nestle Foodservices. Terry coaches new franchisees and continuously develops improvement programmes for training. Terry also holds The Guinness World Record for the most ice cream scoops on a single cone (2010).
Beverley joined New Zealand Natural in November 1993 as a Franchisee, opening the first store in Warringah Mall, Sydney. In 1998, Beverley joined head office as an Area Manager, and in 2009, took on the role of NSW & ACT State Manager. Prior to joining New Zealand Natural, Beverley worked in the retail industry. She is a qualified school teacher and is certified in Assessment and Workplace Training.
International Specialised Stores (ISSCO) is a dedicated master franchisor and brand builder in The Gulf Region and North Africa. International Specialised Stores is headed up by Mr Turki Al-Sadhan and focuses strongly on fashion and food retail, while the wider group owns grocery hypermarkets within The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ISSCO owns and operates its own ice cream parlours as well as sub-franchising, and sells ice cream via the foodservice channel.
Mr Doyle has an MBA from The JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Masters in International Accounting from Swinburne, Australia. The Company has 4 offices with 85 staff serving the 4-5 star hotel, cafe, restaurant and supermarket sectors. The Company also operates New Zealand Natural kiosks in food courts throughout Vietnam.
Francois is originally a French National, who has lived in Asia for the last 14 years. He has a Masters Degree in Management (Paris IX Dauphine) and a Post Graduate Degree in Hospitality Management (Cornell – Essec). He previously had 10 years of experience at management level with Accor Hotels Asia prior to joining the New Zealand Natural team in 2005.
Michael is an ice cream franchise specialist owning the rights to a high profile US brand for a number of years until making the move to New Zealand Natural. While owning and operating parlours in California, New Zealand Natural North America is strongly focused on the foodservice sector as well as grocery. Servicing chains such as Gelsons, Vons, Bristol Farms and Savemart, New Zealand Natural now supplies over 1,000 stores in the California, Nevada and Arizona area.
Export Plus is a specialist food trading company focusing on French Territories within The Pacific Region. Sylvain is a French speaking grocery expert and has been successful in launching New Zealand Natural into French Polynesia.
Kevin and his brothers, Paul and Yao Han, have been with New Zealand Natural since 2007. In that time they have significantly increased the number of New Zealand Natural outlets in Malaysia and are now making inroads into the hospitality sector. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and is a registered CPA in Australia.
Exotic Gourmet is a joint venture between Mr. Dinesh Goyal & Akanksha Gupta. The two men currently have interests in many diverse industries such as manufacturing, education, hospitality and pharmaceuticals. J.P. Sharma is General Manager for India and is tasked with achieving their aggressive expansion plans. J.P. Sharma has a long history of success in ice cream retailing and is determined to make New Zealand Natural a major force in the Indian ice cream market.
New Zealand Natural Products Ltd is a specialist company concentrating on Russian/New Zealand import/export trade with offices in the Russian Far East, Moscow and New Zealand. They have successfully launched New Zealand Natural grocery and foodservice packs into the Russian Far East as well as a number of top end supermarkets and 5 star food service customers on the West Coast. New Zealand Natural Products is owned and operated by Ian Robertson and Sergey Grinko. Combined they have extensive knowledge of the Russian market dealing in numerous products and services.
Olive On Inc is a premium logistics and food services company based in Seoul, Korea. Since it started operations in 2004, New Zealand Natural Korea has expanded its business rapidly and now has over 300 clients in various channels.
Loganberry Holdings has successfully established the New Zealand Natural brand in Fiji since starting operations there in 2006. Focused primarily on express parlours in tourist resorts along the coast, Managing Director, Bob Penn, has significant market share in the premium sector in both parlour operations and foodservice supply.
Russ has been involved in the food industry for more than 30 years and has owned fine dining and quick service restaurants, a hotel and a catering business. He has been the Master Franchisee for Victoria & Tasmania in Australia since 2005.
A New Zealander now based in Perth, Sam has 30 years hospitality and food service experience. He is the owner of Accolade Group Food Brokers and Hospitality Employment, as well as having interests in catering and The Coolgardie Safe Restaurant.
PT. Multi Rasa Asia was New Zealand Natural’s first international Master Franchisee when they started operations in 1994. The Company’s Managing Director, Dicky Sutardi first came to know the brand when he completed his Bachelor of Commerce in Sydney, Australia. New Zealand Natural is now a well recognised ice cream brand in Indonesia that can be found in the best malls throughout the country.
Prior to becoming the New Zealand Natural Master Franchisee for Singapore, Stanley managed a substantial engineering business. Stanley believes in taking a proactive approach to his marketing activities and is a firm believer in continually evolving the brand to stay ahead of competitors.
New Zealand Natural in Pakistan is lead by Mr Abdul Wahab German who has a long history of success in marketing and retailing. New Zealand Natural will join Mr German's vast retail interests which include a chain of electronics stores and several international food and beverage franchises. With over 25 years of experience in building and growing successful businesses and with contacts throughout the country, New Zealand Natural in Pakistan is expected to perform strongly.
